Wyssachen Summercamp 1.8.

Blog, 1. August

Today the camp leaders gave us three options to choose from, weh ad the choice to pick either Cycling leading towards a rope park, doing a small hike which ends in visiting a traditional cheese factory or just doing ordinary ball sports.

The cycling group had the task to cover 23 miles from the camp house to the trainstation, this trip was very exhausthing but it was worth it because it had amazing views over Emmental. Once we got to the train station we took a one hour and a half train ride then a twenty minute ride to  the rope park. In the rope park we kind of climbed around the trees. The difficulty depends on wich colour the “walk” had, yellow was the easiest one and the black was the most difficult. The “walks” were high up in the trees and could sometimes be  really scary. For example, in the blue walk, you could jump a “free fall” down from one of the trees. But we all had a lots of fun and had a great day.

Today the ball sports group walked 30 minutes to a very nice field where we played multiple sports such as: football, dodge ball and beach volleyball. Football was my favorite because everyone played which made it competitive and fun. Volleyball was also very fun because it was a competitive game but everyone couldn’t play at once. After that we went to the pool which took 30 minutes to get to. The pool was nice and fun especially in the hot sun, we then took a car back to the camp.

The bike group got back to the house at 6 PM and most of the campers that started the way back on bike had to be picked up by the van on their way back to the house.
