First day of winter camp in Sedrun

The beginner board crew after a very succesful first day.

We all met at the Hauptbahnhof in Zurich, for some of us it was a long trip from distant destinations. After the check-in we took a train to the site where we all had dinner and played games that helped us socialize. For the next day the weather forecast predicted a sun and rather warm temperatures, especially considering this was supposed to be winter in Switzerland, which we were all very dissapointed by, as we all came hoping for eight feet of powder snow. However in the morning we discovered that the majority of the slopes were opened and the sun was a good contribution for the first day of this camp. Speaking for all, we had an amazing day with good experiences, however, we all hope for more snow to come as some of the slopes are lacking snow and seem to be like icerinks. The general concises of the participants was that the first day of camp was enjoyable with few flaws.
