GLACIER:
Today we went to the glacier. We were tired because we woke up very early. We had breakfast at 7am, and then we took the train to Diavoletzza. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining. When we arrived, we took the cable car up to the mountain top. Many people were surprised to find snow at the mountain peak as it was quite warm for snow to stay. However, that didn't stop us having fun in the summer snow!
The glacier itself was amazing, and we learn so much about how it was formed and the importance (and impact) of global warming. We had fun jumping over the massive cracks and picking up the ancient ice. It was interesting that the glacier is thousands of years old and how quickly it is shrinking... I believe this trip opened many eyes about the importance of global warming.

BBQ HIKE:
After more than a week of camp, many of us were very tired. However there was an option to solve this problem: The BBQ Hike. The hike itself was only 20 minutes to get to the grill, but because most of us were tired before leaving, we took a nap and chilled out. The BBQ itself was amazing, and we all had some sausages (and veg for the vegetarians), and after filling our stomachs, we once again chilled. However, that was quickly disrupted by a water fight started by Clemens!!! After being soaked and drained of energy, we decided to head back to the camp house where many of us sun tanned until the other groups came back.
